This would be one of my ANCIENT role playing characters, a corvid / black panther gryphon, named 'Cry'.
He is, of course, moody, sly, sarcastic, and soforth. General grumpy bird. And he just wouldn't be complete if he didn't have an attraction towards shimmering objects. Here, he is spending some much-needed alone time with one of his current-favorite jewels. An orb that is dark, just like he is.

I really like how you made him strong, yet very lean looking, and your use of non-black colors to depict his hue.

It may have been.. I just remember you and Jenna and I would draw together in oC and oekaki rather frequently for a couple weeks straight one summer.

Yeah, I was using Akurei and yamaneko. My primary AIM handles were AkureiYamaneko and XanthicMeiou, if you remember either of those?

I'm not sure what my brain's deal is. The handles continue to sound very familiar, but the side7 trip was not. Hrm. o_0
